About Us
Design with Purpose. Built with Vision.
Cocoplum Design Studio is a hotel and residential interior design practice based in Hunters Hill, Sydney, led by Ozge Fettahlioglu: neuroarchitect, Western Sydney University lecturer and Board Director of Biophilic Cities Australia Inc. We design guest rooms, public areas and residences on the evidence of how people respond to space, and we manufacture the furniture, fixtures and joinery ourselves through Boxareno.
One contract covers design, manufacturing, delivery and installation. Every project is grounded in peer-reviewed research and built for measurable outcomes: higher guest satisfaction, stronger RevPAR and healthier spaces for the people who use them.

About Cocoplum
At Cocoplum we design interiors that support human health and commercial performance. Our method draws on neuroarchitecture, the application of environmental neuroscience to spatial design, and on biophilic principles, to create hotel and residential spaces that measurably improve how people feel and function. Every project starts with an evidence brief: what the space needs to do for the guest, and which design decisions produce that outcome.
Cocoplum and Boxareno: Designer and Manufacturer in One Contract
Boxareno is the manufacturing arm of Cocoplum, not a separate build partner. Through Boxareno we design and manufacture custom hotel furniture, architectural joinery, modular guest room packages and complete FF&E, and deliver and install them on site. Turnkey delivery from one accountable team removes the gap between designer and manufacturer that inflates cost, lead time and defect risk on most hotel projects. Our hospitality case studies show the results at cocoplum.com.au/projects.
