Cocoplum Design Studio is a Sydney-based evidence-based interior design practice led by Ozge Fettahlioglu — neuroarchitect, WSU lecturer, and Board Director of Biophilic Cities Australia Inc. We are one of the few practices where the evidence-informed designer and the ISO-certified manufacturer are the same entity.
We design hospitality and residential interiors informed by neuroarchitecture and biophilic design. From concept through to FF&E delivery via Boxareno, our ISO-certified manufacturing arm, every project is grounded in peer-reviewed research and built for measurable outcomes — higher guest satisfaction, stronger RevPAR and healthier spaces for occupants.
About Cocoplum
At Cocoplum, we design interiors that support human health and commercial performance. Our methodology draws on neuroarchitecture — the application of environmental neuroscience to spatial design — alongside biophilic principles to create hospitality and residential spaces that measurably improve how people feel and function.
Cocoplum and Boxareno — Designer and Manufacturer
Boxareno is not a separate build partner — it is the manufacturing arm of the same entity. Through Boxareno, we design and supply custom FF&E, modular room packages and joinery directly to site. ISO-certified, factory quality-assured, with direct supply to eliminate the designer-manufacturer gap that inflates cost and schedule risk on most projects.
Meet Ozge Fettahlioglu
Ozge Fettahlioglu is the founder of Cocoplum and Boxareno, a practising neuroarchitect, and a lecturer at Western Sydney University’s School of Engineering and Built Environment. She is a Board Director of Biophilic Cities Australia Inc. and a member of the Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture (ANFA).
With a background spanning interior architecture, modular construction and environmental psychology, Ozge leads every Cocoplum engagement from pre-architectural strategy through to FF&E specification and delivery. Her work has been presented at NoVacancy, Future of Construction Summit, CapTech and the Sydney Home Show.
