MEDIA RELEASE | Nature Takes Centre Stage: Cocoplum and Biophilic Cities Australia to Design Melbourne Build 2026 VIP Lounge
Cocoplum | Neuroarchitecture, Biophilic Design and Interiors invites Australian design brands to showcase sustainable innovations to 20,000+ industry leaders; EOIs close 30 July 2026. This is a media release.
Cocoplum | Neuroarchitecture, Biophilic Design and Interiors, in collaboration with Biophilic Cities Australia and Melbourne Build Expo, has announced it will design and deliver the official VIP Lounge at Melbourne Build 2026. Engineered as a fully immersive biophilic environment, the studio is now opening an exclusive call for Australian design companies to feature their products within the high-profile space.
Taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 25 and 26 November 2026, Melbourne Build Expo is Australia's premier construction and design expo. The event expects over 20,000 registered visitors, 500 speakers, and 350 exhibitors across four co-located industry events.
Occupying the event’s prime location, the 6x7 metre lounge will serve all speakers, sponsors, and VIP guests across the two-day expo. Cocoplum will transform the space into a living demonstration of evidence-based wellness design, utilising acoustic panels, natural materials, raw lighting, and living elements to showcase how health-centric design operates at scale.
Cocoplum founder Ozge Fettahlioglu notes that the project bridges the gap between theory and real-world application:"The construction and design industry talks a great deal about wellness environments, but it’s rare to experience them fully realised in a commercial expo setting. This is an opportunity to move past mood boards and renders. We are putting a living, breathing, scientifically backed space directly in front of the people who commission and build the future of our cities."
