Zabeel Saray, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai: FF&E Designed and Produced

Fixed and mobile FF&E and wooden flooring across the general areas and guest rooms of a Palm Jumeirah beachfront resort, designed and produced in-house ahead of its 2010 opening.

Project facts

  • Property: Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, a 5-star beachfront resort on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with 367 deluxe rooms and 43 suites, including royal and presidential suites
  • Operator and brand: developed as The Ottoman Palace by Rixos and operated by Jumeirah Group as Jumeirah Zabeel Saray
  • Client: ZSML Construction, main contractor
  • Completed: November 2010, ahead of the January 2011 opening
  • Our role: FF&E designed and produced
  • Scope: fixed and loose furniture and decoration works for the public areas, and wooden flooring throughout the guest rooms

The scope

Fixed and mobile FF&E and wooden flooring across the general areas and guest rooms of this Palm Jumeirah beachfront resort, completed in 2010.

The approach

Designed and produced in-house, from guest-room casegoods to general-area joinery, ahead of the resort’s opening on one of Dubai’s most prestigious addresses. Neuroscience-informed design is embedded in every project Cocoplum Design Studio takes on, whether we hold the full brief or lead on FF&E.
