What does Cocoplum do?
Cocoplum Wellness Design Studio provides end-to-end interior solutions from neuroarchitecture-informed design through to manufacturing, delivery, and installation. We specialise in hospitality fit-outs and residential developments, with vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities spanning joinery, furniture, metalwork, stone, and upholstery.

What is neuroarchitecture?
Neuroarchitecture applies neuroscience research to spatial design – understanding how light, materials, layout, and biophilic elements affect human cognition, mood, and wellbeing. We use this evidence base to design spaces that perform better for occupants and deliver measurable returns for asset owners.

What is biophilic design?
Biophilic design integrates nature and natural patterns into the built environment. This includes natural light optimisation, living greenery, organic materials, water features, and nature-inspired geometries. Research links biophilic design to reduced stress, improved productivity, and higher property values.

Services & Capabilities

Do you only design, or do you also manufacture and install?
We do all three. Our vertically integrated model means we control the entire process – design, custom manufacturing across seven joinery factories, international logistics, and on-site installation. This turnkey approach eliminates coordination risk and ensures quality from concept to handover.

What can you manufacture in-house?
Our manufacturing network covers custom joinery and cabinetry, fixed and loose furniture, metal fabrication, stone masonry, and upholstery. We operate over €2.36 million in factory assets including 5-axis CNC machining, automated finishing lines, and dedicated production departments.

Do you supply FF&E only, or full fit-out?
Both. We can deliver FF&E packages (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) as a supply-only service, or manage complete interior fit-outs including all fixed joinery, wall finishes, flooring, and installation.

What types of projects do you work on?
We specialise in luxury hospitality (hotels, resorts, restaurants, spas) and premium residential developments (villas, apartments, bespoke homes). Our portfolio includes projects for Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, Swissôtel, Accor, IHG, and The Ritz-Carlton properties.

Where do you operate?
We deliver projects across Australia, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. Our manufacturing and logistics network is structured for international delivery with established shipping and customs processes.

Quality & Process

What certifications do you hold?
Our manufacturing operations maintain ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety), and ISO 10002:2018 (Customer Satisfaction).

How does your process work?
We follow a structured 10-step methodology: contract signing, documentation review, scheduling, shop drawings and submittals, material procurement, factory production with QC, packaging and shipping, on-site installation, snagging, and handover. You have visibility at each stage.

How do you ensure quality control?
Quality control happens at multiple points – material inspection on arrival, in-process checks during manufacturing, pre-shipment inspection and photography, and final inspection on site before handover. We are happy to build a prototype upon request – both for residential and hospitality projects. Our ISO 9001 certification formalises these processes.

Do you work with architects and interior designers?
